The Leviathan's Hand
Leviathan's Hand is a blade pulled from a wreck and given a second life. A forty-five-centimetre giant with a thirty-centimetre recurve cutting edge in 80crv2 high-carbon steel (58-59 HRC), five millimetres thick at the spine. Full tang. Wenge scales with glow-in-the-dark micarta liners. This is not a tool that pretends to be heavy-duty. It is heavy-duty.
The most striking feature is the blade surface, an etched wave pattern that looks like surf breaking against a hull. The recurve silhouette concentrates cutting power at the belly of the blade, making it deadly efficient at chopping and batoning.
The leather sheath is individually fitted, made to carry the blade at an angle allowing easy draw. The glow-in-the-dark micarta liners at the handle aren't a gimmick, it's a practical anchor for finding your knife in low camp light, the moment dusk swallows the firepit and you set the blade down on the wrong log.
Each Leviathan's Hand is hand-crafted at the Shipwreck Knives workshop one piece, one owner. For the bushcrafter, the collector, or for anyone who simply understands that some tools must command respect from the first glance.
